Introducing: The Lonely Forest

There are many bands out there that have that soft sound when they play. Some have light guitars, light drums and low bass, or some bands have loud instruments when they play but with a soft vocalist when they come to a break. There are many bands out there who calls their genre is indie but if it's every beginnings of a band that starts off as a DIY band aren't they sort of .. indie? Death Cab for Cutie, a band that has begun since 1997 has been picked up because each individual track was recorded so shitty by themselves that when labels found them, they needed to become signed and get their recordings much better. But I'm not hear to talk about Death cab. I'm hear to talk about Chris Walla's latest signing's to his label Trans, an imprint of Atlantic Records, The Lonely Forest.

The Lonely Forest, from Anacortes, Washington, began in 2005 and came through with two EP's and three LP's including their latest release for "Arrows."
